Newer Car = /

So, my parents exchanged my car for this newer car, but I don't really like it. =[ I feel like I am driving a bug.  Is not like my old car was better, it was actually older, needed a paint job and a lot of other things but it was not as girly. The car I have right now is one of those hatchback cars, and to me is super girly. Anyways, I know my parents did because they wanted me to have something better and they did it out of their heart, but for some reason I am having a really hard time adjusting to the car. I do not mean to sound like a spoiled brat, but I just needed to get it out. I feel like it would be extremely disrespectful and messed up if I told them that I want my old car again, and I think it would break their heart. Ugghhhhhh I really don't know what to do. I have talked to some of my really good friends but no one has made me feel better about my situation. Instead of being upset I should be extremely happy that I dont have to pay for my newer car.  If you have any advice for me, I would be very pleased to hear it.

GSA Scandal

Yesterday I was watching the Colbert Report and heard about the GSA scandal. So apparently Jack Lew and this other person spent a shit load of our tax money on their private trips.  I guess they spent around $150,000 on catering, $7,000 on sushi and other ridiculous stuff like that. They also said that they spent more than $800,000 in Vegas. Later, when they asked Jack Lew questions about the scandal all he had to say was, according to the 5th amendment, blah, blah, blah. Crazy!!!!!!! I really hope he gets fired! While we are getting budget cuts in school he is spending the money that we supposibly "don't have" on ridiculous trips. UGGGGHHHHH!!! makes me so angry!!! lol

Dinah Shore =]

So this weekend was so much fun. I went to Palm Springs with my friends for the Dinah Shore. It was sooooooo much fun. I got to spend time with my friends, drinkin all day and just having fun. We went to a pool party right when we got there and the weather was perfect, it was nice and hot and everybody seemed to have a good time. No drama =]  Then we went to our hotel, did some more drinking and got in the jacuzzi and went for a swim at the nice warm pool. It was AMAZING!!!!! At night we went to this one club, and they were playing a lot of good spanish music, anyhting from spanich rock to salsa. I haven't been to a spanish club in along time so I had a blast dancing. When we got back we went in the jacuzzi, again, and didn't go back to our hotel until 6.30ish. Late on the day we went out to grab a few drinks and a bite to eat. After that we started heading back to L.A. It was an awesome trip and I'm so glad I went. =]

There is this show in TLC called My Strange Addiction, and is this episode they showed a woman that is addicted to drinking her nail polish. I'm still not sure how she is still alive though. This is gross and really weird. It is crazy what people do.

Cheating!

So, today when I got to my math class, my classmates where talking about some Armenian ladies that all sit together during class.  I guess they have been cheating for the three tests we've had, which is kind of ridiculous, because we can use our notes and book during the tests. = O (Yeah, I know!) Let me breakdown the cheating technique they use. So, the teachers hand out the test, and one of the ladies pretends to go to the bathroom and leaves the class while her husband comes in and does the test for her. Once he is done, he leaves and she comes in. Then she shares the answer with all the other ladies, and then they turn in the test.  I know this seems extremely obvious, but I didn't even noticed it. Anyways, the prefesssor caught them, and all he did was tell them that it couldn't happen anymore and on the lst test he sat by them and moved one lady. I CAN NOT believe he didn't kick them out of the class and send them to the dean. Other people are trying hard and deserve the credits, unlike those ladies. I would expect cheating from people my age, but not from those old ladies. Increadible!!

Crime in Colombia

I wanted to share this video, because it was really shocking and because these events happened in the city I was born in. This video is from Bogota, Colombia and it shows people getting robbed. I knew this happened, and it has happened to my family members, but watching this video made me realize what they went through and it made me appreciate more living here in California. =] Even though these things happen in Colombia, it's still a beautiful country with beautiful and generous people, and I can't wait to go back to visit.

If you thought yesterday was a day to remember, forget about it. Today Mike VanGalio experienced something that he’ll never forget.

While Mike was at the beach today, where he was getting nicely bronzed, he witnessed something that people would only believe if they saw a picture of it. Even though Mike had not had any alcoholic beverages in him, he couldn’t believe what he saw; a goat walking on the beach. Very far from the closest farm, Mike thought that the owner had abandoned his goat, but just at that very moment a scraggly looking man appeared from the ocean, calling for his goat. At this time Mike was shocked that a man let his goat roam free along the beach, but Mike had no idea what was going to happen minutes later. Just like any domesticated dog, the goat followed his owner down to the shore and began frolicking in the small waves. Very entertained, Mike went to take a closer look. At this time the owner called his goat out into the ocean and put him on his surf board. Mike said, “no way is that goat going to sur…” and before Mike could finish “surf” the goat was being pushed into a wave for it to surf on its own. As a surf enthusiast, Mike was stunned, excited, and honored to see a goat ride a surf board. Knowing that many people will never see that in their lifetime, Mike felt lucky that he snapped a picture so that he could tell that story for the rest of his life.

In the past 24 hours, Mike VanGalio experienced something that he’ll never forget, seeing music legend, DJ Quik in concert. For Mike, this was a memorable experience because he has an incredibly large passion for rap music, and DJ Quik was a pioneer in the game (industry). Although Mike was incredibly intoxicated, he was still able to remember and enjoy the show. The concert was great, but became especially memorable when DJ Quik brought out a bottle of Hennessey liquor and gave Mike a shot that he’ll never forget, even if it was the shot that put Mike in the brown-out stage of his drunkenness. For those of you who do not know what “browning-out” is, it’s where you have had too much to drink and do not have complete memory loss of the night, but do not remember everything that has happened. Now that you’ve been educated on browning-out, after the concert Mike VanGalio continued to party and this is where his brown-out went into effect. He knew that he left the concert, but didn’t remember going to bed. In the morning, Mike woke up smelling of high quality liquor and hot pockets, leading him to head straight to the gym in order to legitimize his title of Golden God. While Mike was sculpting his body into a masterpiece, he couldn’t help but reflect on his night and how awesome it was, just like him. One thing is for sure, the last 24 hours for Mike were unforgettable, just like him.

Mike's Memoir #1

Today the Mike VanGalio got accepted to law school. Then, went to a funeral to pay his respects and unsuprisingly stole the spotlight. As he confidently sat in the pew he was bombarded with compliments and encouragement by fellow funeral goers. As he embraced the loss of a friend he knew that life could only get better. Later, at the wake, the environment was more relaxed and people where enjoying the time spent with their loved ones. As Mike made his way through the party, he stumbled upon an elderly women who complimented him on his ridiculously stunning good looks. As Mike made small talk with this women, she proceeded to inform him that she was too much of a women for him to handle and that Mike needed to move along. Confused....No, shocked! That any women would think she could be too much for the manliest of all men, Mike VanGalio, he had to investigate. The elderly women, Betsy, insisted that at the ripe age of 87, was too feisty for the young, tan, and in his sexual prime Mike VanGalio. As Mike argued that she couldn't be farther from the truth, Betsy insisted that her 70 year old son wouldn't approve of her dating a young and incredibly handsome man like Mike VanGalio. At this time, Mike exclaimed, "What the fuck!" He didn't know whether to be more confused that Betsy thought he wanted to date her, or the fact that Betsy had a son that was old enough to be Mike's grandfather, making Besty old enough to be Mike's great grandmother. Now more disgusted than anything, Mike had to escape the tight grip of Betsy the cougars hand from swiftly squeezing his tight buns of steel. Barely escaping the death grip of the cougar, Mike quickly paid his respects to the family and made sure to avoid Betsy on his way out. Full of courage, Mike proceeded to go out to the local night club and grind on every girl he saw, in hopes that Betsy the cougar did not find him in the alcohol saturated state of mind Mike drank himself into. Unfortunately, Mike woke up alone, but at least Betsy wasn't there!
